Chris Eubank Jr., although not having done much to earn a title shot at 168 pounds, remains one of Britain’s most marketable fighters. Eubank, 33-3 (24 KOs), last fought in the super middleweight division in February 2019, defeating a faded James DeGale. Despite being more natural at middleweight, Eubank’s ability to sell a fight keeps him in the running.

Eubank has been inactive since his September victory over Liam Smith, which avenged a surprise defeat eight months earlier. His marketability and ability to draw a crowd make him a viable option for Canelo, despite the lack of recent activity in the super middleweight division.
