About

Tommy Frank is a British professional boxer who has enjoyed success in the flyweight and super-flyweight divisions. Born on July 17, 1993, in Sheffield, Yorkshire, Tommy’s early life was marked by overcoming a heart condition, for which he later became an ambassador for the charity Heart Research UK. He discovered his passion for boxing at the age of twelve, training at the Sheffield Boxing Centre under the guidance of head trainer Glyn Rhodes while balancing his studies in plumbing at Castle College and working as a laborer.

Tommy Frank made his professional boxing debut on July 30, 2016, with a four-round points decision victory over Sergey Tasimov at the Magna Centre in Rotherham. Building up a strong record of six wins, he went on to challenge Craig Derbyshire for the Central Area super-flyweight title on April 27, 2018, at the iceSheffield in Yorkshire, where he secured a points decision victory over ten rounds.

Continuing his success, Tommy earned two more wins, one by stoppage, and was slated to fight Ross Murray for the vacant Commonwealth super-flyweight title on March 15, 2019, at the Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield. However, when Murray withdrew, Luke Wilton became his new opponent. Tommy Frank won the fight via a fourth-round technical knockout (TKO), showcasing his prowess by dropping Wilton four times before the stoppage. The victory led him to claim the Commonwealth super-flyweight title.

In July of the same year, Tommy secured a seventh-round TKO win over John Chuwa, and on September 20, 2019, he faced Aran Dipaen for the vacant WBC International Silver super-flyweight title at the Ponds Forge Arena. The hard-fought contest ended in Tommy’s favor, as he claimed the title by split decision, with two judges scoring the bout 116–113 and 115–113 for him, and the third judge scoring it 115–113 for Dipaen.

Throughout his professional career, Tommy Frank has proven himself to be a skilled and determined boxer, capturing titles and leaving his mark in the flyweight and super-flyweight divisions.
