Nick Ball, the rising star from Liverpool in the featherweight division, is making a significant impact, and the boxing world is taking notice of this fearless and powerful puncher with an infectious smile.

His breakthrough moment came in April 2022 at Wembley Stadium when he headlined a thrilling bout against the much more experienced Isaac Lowe, ultimately capturing the WBC Silver title. It was a performance that announced his arrival in the boxing world, marked by his relentless attacks that had Lowe in trouble from the second round, leading to a sixth-round stoppage.

Nick Ball, who is 25 years old and trains under the guidance of Paul Stevenson at the Everton Red Triangle gym, hadn’t previously been in the spotlight to this extent. However, he chose the grand stage of Wembley Stadium to showcase his unique combination of skills and ferocious fighting style.

He declared, “I am sending a message to every featherweight out there that I’m coming for them. It’s time to make statements, and I’ve been waiting for this opportunity. I can’t wait to step back into the ring, and I’m feeling confident. Anyone can step up; I don’t need to call out names, just line them up, and I’ll take them down. That’s my message.”

In July of the previous year, Ball defended his WBC title against the tall and dangerous Namibian fighter Nathanael Kakololo. Despite a significant height disadvantage, Ball aggressively pursued his opponent throughout the fight and secured a well-deserved stoppage victory in the final round.

Then, in November, Ball further reinforced his reputation with a rapid stoppage of the reputedly tough Mexican boxer Jesus Ramirez Rubio in London. He needed less than two minutes to dispatch an opponent with 21 wins on his record, sending a clear message about his devastating punching power and determination in the ring.
