Devin Haney is a professional boxer from the United States of America. He is the current undisputed Lightweight Champion. He holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) title, the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Title, International Boxing Federation (IBF) title, World Boxing Organization (WBO) title, and the Ring title. He is ranked by a number of publications as one of the best active boxers today.

Haney won seven national titles when he was just an amateur fighter. At 198, he was the youngest fighter to ever with the Youth World Championships which was held in Reno. His amateur record is 138-8. Of those 8 losses, two were to Ryan Garcia who is now one of his rivals. They fought four times as amateurs, each winning two.

He turned pro when he was 17 but the minimum age requirements in the United States prevent him from competing professionally in the country. This led to him having his first four professional fights held in Mexico.

His first title bout was held in 2017. It was against Maximo Toala and was for the vacant WBC Youth World Light Title. In 2018, he earned the vacant USBA Light Title after he fought and defeated Mason Menard.

He followed this with a win against Juan Carlos Burgos in 2018, which gave him the IBF North American Light Title.

In 2019, he went up against Antonio Moran and won the WBA International Light Title, WBO Inter-Continental Light Title, and the WBA International Light Title.

He only had one fight in 2020 and that was against Yuriorkis Gamboa. That was for the WBC World Light Title. In 2021, he defended the WBC World Light Title against Jorge Linares. He would defend the title again in December 2021 against Joseph Diaz.

In June 2022, he won against George Kambosos Jr. and became the undisputed Lightweight Champion.
