About

Albert Khanbulatovich Batyrgaziev has rapidly risen through the ranks of professional boxing, making history along the way. Batyrgaziev, born on June 23, 1998, in Russia, switched from a successful kickboxing career to boxing in 2016. His dedication paid off when he won a gold medal in the featherweight division at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, becoming the first professional boxer to achieve this feat.

Batyrgaziev made his professional debut on July 3, 2020, claiming the vacant WBA Asia East super-featherweight title. He quickly showcased his talent by securing several victories, including a TKO win against Erzhan Turgumbekov and a seventh-round TKO against Sibusiso Zingange. His momentum continued as he captured the WBO European featherweight title with a second-round knockout against Suat Laze.

On December 24, 2021, Batyrgaziev won the IBF International featherweight title with a fourth-round TKO over Franklin Manzanilla. Moving up to super featherweight, he claimed the EBP lightweight title with a unanimous decision against Heybatulla Hajialiyev on April 3, 2022. He followed this with a unanimous decision victory over Ricardo Nunez and a ninth-round TKO against former WBA champion Jezzrel Corrales.

Batyrgaziev‘s latest triumph was a unanimous decision win over the undefeated Francis Frometa on July 28, 2023. Thi
