Unified Welterweight World Champion holding WBC, WBA, and IBF titles, Errol Spence Jr. is set to face off against Terence Crawford, the WBO 147-pound titleholder, in an Undisputed Welterweight World Championship match. This thrilling contest is scheduled for Saturday, July 29, and will be aired live on SHOWTIME PPV from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena as a key feature of a Premier Boxing Champions event. This matchup of undefeated titans promises to crown the first undisputed welterweight world champion of the four-belt era and possibly determine the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the sport. This bout harkens back to epic face-offs like Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Thomas Hearns, Pernell Whitaker vs. Julio César Chávez, and Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao. Both Spence and Crawford have demonstrated exceptional skills that have propelled them to the pinnacle of boxing’s most prestigious division. A victory on July 29 could propel them to legendary status, akin to Leonard, Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Pacquiao. The event will be live-streamed in its entirety in the US & Canada on PPV.com

In the UK, TNT Sports Box Office will provide the event for £19.95
SHOWTIME and PPV.com will broadcast the fight on PPV in the U.S
The venue is the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada
Main event ringwalks are estimated to occur at 11 pm ET

From the moment Crawford seized the welterweight title in 2018, a clash with Spence seemed inevitable. Now, it’s officially happening! The public sale starts on Friday, June 2 at 10 a.m. PT, and tickets can be obtained via AXS.com. Both Spence and Crawford have expressed eagerness and preparation for the match, each aspiring to carve their names in the history books as the undisputed welterweight king.

Stephen Espinoza, the President of Sports and Event Programming for Showtime Networks Inc., expressed his excitement about the bout, stating that this monumental matchup exemplifies boxing’s enduring appeal and will command global attention.

Both Spence (28-0, 22 KOs) and Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) boast formidable records and have surmounted significant hurdles in their careers. Spence bounced back after a car accident in 2019 and eye surgery in 2021, whereas Crawford has earned titles across the lightweight, super lightweight, and welterweight divisions.
