Exciting news from the world of boxing as rising welterweight sensation Pat McCormack gears up to headline his very first show at the Utilita Arena Newcastle on Saturday, November 11! This high-stakes showdown is set to captivate fight fans worldwide, thanks to DAZN’s live coverage.

Hailing from Sunderland, Pat McCormack (5-0, 4 KOs) has been on a tear since turning pro in March 2022, racking up an impressive record and clinching his first title by retiring Ton Dixon in just four rounds to secure the WBA Intercontinental Title.

Now, McCormack faces his toughest test yet as he defends his title against the undefeated American sensation, Peter Dobson (16-0, 9 KOs), who’s traveled across the pond to challenge the rising star. Dobson, known as ‘Pistol Pete,’ brings a perfect record and a hunger for victory after winning the WBC USA Silver Welterweight crown in 2017.

This electrifying event promises to be a night of thrilling action, with Jarrow Super-Welterweight Ewan Mackenzie battling Leeds’ Ishmael Davis in an eliminator for the English Title and West Rainton’s Mark Dickinson taking on Chatham’s Grant Dennis in an eliminator for the English Middleweight Title. Undefeated former Team GB standout Mark Dickinson is looking to maintain his perfect record since turning pro in October 2021.

But that’s not all! Gateshead Lightweight Calum French, Essex Middleweight Jimmy Sains, and Newcastle Lightweight amateur standout Cameron Vuong will also showcase their talents. Plus, the Rees brothers, Owen and Ben, will be in action in their respective divisions.
